FAQ

  • Do I need prior experience in storyboarding to do this course?

No prior experience is required. This step-by-step mini course is designed for beginners and experienced professionals alike.

  • Does this course work for every training topic?

Yes. However, it does not do the work for you and it does not write the storyboarding content for you. You need to take responsibility for doing the steps in the course to extract the answers to the activities and then massage what you extract into your storyboard. This is the step-by-step process that our team uses for every training we create, which makes it applicable to all topics, sizes and problems we apply it to.

  • Can I use the templates and exercises in my projects?

Yes. All templates and exercises are included for your personal and professional use.

  • Will this course help with creating storyboards for other types of media/outputs?

While the focus is on eLearning, many of the principles and techniques used can be applied to other content-based media/outputs, such as videos scripts, face-to-face training and learning resources.

"I can't even begin to explain the value this process has added to my work! It's simple, easy to follow, and all in one place—I wouldn't be where I am as an instructional designer without it!"
